Fall in Dana Point doesn't announce itself. No turning leaves, no first frost. The light just gets lower and one evening you want the lamps on at five.

So we do the season a little quieter: warm metal, deeper texture, a bit more weight in the fabrics. These are the four pieces we keep reaching for right now, covering the two rooms where autumn actually shows up: the sofa and the table.
