Four rooms in one house, each with a different job to do. A speakeasy game room built for grown-up play. A kitchen that has to work as hard as it looks. A dining room with presence. A living room that holds the whole thing together.
The through-line isn't a palette or a single style. It's a point of view carried from one room into the next, so the house reads as one house.
The Speakeasy Game Room
This room was built for grown-up play, and moody was the whole point. The walls are Painted Paper in a rich charcoal plaid, set against Sherwin-Williams Peppercorn — a low, warm envelope that makes the light in the room feel like it's the only light in the house.
Lighting does the heavy lifting. Arteriors chandeliers in brass and handblown glass hang low enough to warm the room without ever blocking a sightline across the table. Below them, two table heights from NOIR create a layered seating plan, so people can play, watch, or step out of the game without leaving the room.
The Four Hands shuffleboard is the centerpiece and the invitation. The wet bar is the drama — glossy tile, open shelving, a brass faucet against dark cabinetry, and another Arteriors fixture pulling it all together. Underfoot, tailored Fibreworks carpet keeps the whole thing grounded.
And then the secrets. A hidden door disguised as a styled bookcase disappears into the plaid. A custom neon glows against the wallcovering — a wink, and the only thing in the room that raises its voice. The best game rooms have something up their sleeve.
More from the Room
Every inch of this space was meant to feel tailored, rich, and a little unexpected.
Modern Dining Room
The dining room is moody and paneled, opening to the outdoors, with a bold brass chandelier chosen for sculptural impact against a matte black ceiling. It draws the eye up, and at golden hour it does something genuinely worth planning dinner around.
In the corner, a tufted bench, an olive tree, and a gold-framed mirror soften the deep paneled walls — layered texture and curves where the architecture is all straight lines and shadow.
A Softer Corner
A tufted bench, an olive tree, and a gold-framed mirror add warmth and softness against deep, paneled walls.
Drawing the Eye Up
A bold brass chandelier adds sculptural impact, complementing the matte black ceiling and drawing the eye upward.
