The klismos chair, refreshed. Light amber ash and a cream performance seat — a shape with 2,500 years behind it, made for a house you actually live in.

The klismos is one of the oldest chair forms in existence, Greek in origin, defined by its curved back rail and splayed legs. Four Hands has kept the proportions and softened the details: rounded legs instead of sharp ones, a gently curved back that meets your spine where it should. Solid ash and ash veneer in a light amber finish, warm without going orange.

The seat is where the practicality lives. A Four Hands exclusive performance fabric with a heathered basketweave texture, built to take spills, stains, and daily use without showing it. That matters more at a dining table than anywhere else in the house — this is a chair you can put children in.
