Hand-painted in Portugal in a dusty pink on white, with pomegranates in the center and a wave border running the rim. The pattern draws on antique Portuguese and Spanish Talavera — the tin-glazed tradition that ran through Iberia for centuries — updated here into something that reads modern on a contemporary table.
Each plate is painted by hand, so the brushwork varies from one to the next. Sold individually, which means you can buy exactly what your table needs — six, eight, ten — or mix patterns and colorways for a table that looks gathered over time rather than bought in one go.
Ten and a quarter inches, full dinner size. The part that makes these genuinely usable: they're both microwave- and dishwasher-safe, which almost no hand-painted ceramic is. That means they go into daily rotation instead of living in a cabinet waiting for a dinner party.
